About Me

I’m Matt, a Level 4 Personal Trainer with over 20 years of experience helping people move better, feel stronger, and live healthier lives. Fitness has always been a big part of who I am — from years of football and traditional Chinese martial arts to triathlon, where I’ve competed in everything from sprint distance to full Ironman.

Outside of personal training, I coach a local grassroots boys’ football team, which brings its own challenges and rewards. I also enjoy taking on physical challenges, including:

  • Completing the Three Peaks (Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, Snowdon) in under 24 hours
  • Cycling across Britain via the Way of the Roses
  • A unique “triathlon” around Lake Coniston: hiking, kayaking, and cycling for charity
  • A cheeky Hyrox here and there

I run my own private PT studio and also work part‑time at a gym in Hook, Hampshire.
