Matt Hart                                                

  I have worked in the Fitness Industry for over 20 years (but Matt you don’t look that old, stop it, I know I know!). I played football for many years before studying a traditional form of Chinese Martial Arts for 4 years. I am partial to the odd Obstacle Course Race but Triathlon is my main sport having competed from Sprint distance all the way up to Ironman. I have my own Home PT Studio as well as working part-time at The Park Health Club in Hook, Hampshire. Im also an FA qualified Coach of a local grassroots boys football team and enjoy the rewards and challenges this brings.

I do like to test myself and over the years have completed the 3 Peaks Challenge (climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Mount Snowdon) in under 24 hours, cycled the breadth of Britain from the east coast to the west coast via the Way of the Roses, and a Triathlon with a difference, Hiking-Kayaking-Cycling around Lake Coniston for a charity that is close to my heart called Sporting Footprints.

I work with my clients to try and better all aspects of their life to get them to function at their most optimum level. It is not just about exercise but nutrition, sleep, stress and other factors that can all come into play and its not until we get a good balance of all of these, that things will start to fall into place with the aim of long term improvement and well being. I work with a wide range clients ranging from those suffering with with low back pain, neurological conditions, and both pre and rehab clients to those after losing body fat and wanting to get stronger. I always try and further my knowledge and attend regular courses and seminars by both fitness and nutrition experts so that my clients receive the most recent and up to date advice and guidance.
